Beyond the Earth Hour...

I was in Bukit Raja last Saturday when suddenly the lights were switched off, then baru la aku perasan yang malam tue la rupanya the much hype, much awaited and very much over-rated EARTH HOUR DAY. Don't get me wrong. I do support the initiatives but we ought to do much more than just celebrate this particular day. Earth Hour Day bukanlah cuma satu hari tue je but all year long.

Cakap orang tapi aku macam mane? Well, aku tak pasti sama ada apa yang aku buat atau contribute adalah besar atau tak. I last paid my bil api sometime last year on October and still they (the TNB) owe me 5 ringgit something. Some of you might say 'ape la sangat kan' but at least I walk the talk, but how about you?

And the fact that I lived alone does help coz' aku tak payah nak pening2 tengok orang lain yang simply membazir sana sini. Kalau la tak kerana aku duk apartmen, maunye bil air pun aku tak payah bayar. For the record, kalau duk apartmen nak tak nak minimum kena bayar gak. Kalau boleh memang la taknak bayar pasalnya bukan aku pakai banyak pun.

Pemaju dah berkali-kali aku tanya, JMB pun aku dah tanya ada progress tak. Seriously memang aku taknak bayar pun bil air nie. Ye la, rumah family aku kat Banting pakai free je padahal mak, adik2 aku semuanya kaki membasuh baju la, memasak la tapi bil air free jer. Aku? Ini tidak adil!

Bila tanya semua bagitau kena tunggu kata sepakat semua yang terlibat. Aku pun tak paham apesal la kat Selangor nie yang manage air sampai 4 organisasi iaitu Syabas, Splash, Puncak Niaga dan Konsortium Abbas.

Nak taknak tunggu je la. Cuma tak tau cerita camane kalau besok Barisan ambik alih balik Selangor dari Pakatan, konfem la kena tunggu lagi. Entah bila la air nak jadi free nie. Haih, best betul kalau dapat subsidi sana sini, api free, air free.
Hidup Khalid! Hidup PKR! Hidup subsidi! Cewah, poyo jer...

The unconventional way of learning the ABC's...

By now, we all are familiar with Male Y and Datuk T. Not to mention other famous people yang jugak famously (and easily) known for their initials like Queen E, Kenny G, Jon B, J. Lo, P. Diddy, Triple H and banyak lagi la. It shows betapa fascinatednya kita dengan huruf. Bet that kids in future will learn the ABC's just by reading a headlines in newspapers.

See, I am blessed with a very short name (LIMA huruf altogether) and yes, aku kadang2 prefer others to addressed me with just two alphabets, which is E and L. Memandangkan 'the shorter the better' is the in-thing nowadays, so officially aku rebrandkan diri aku as...just L. Kalo susah gak tak tau la.

And therefore, L-O-L is officially banned here. Sangat offensive...lol!!! (sambil mem'banned'kan diri sendiri)
